Even in the Romney, West Virginia school system (which I attended for Grades 1-2 before moving to Charlottesville, Virginia) they taught us that 6 was greater than 4. Therefore I pridefully ask that you show Donald (6) as the team leader in doubles. Meehan (4) should be able to take some solace in losing the designation given his team lead in R, HR, BB, and RBI.
Of course, having pointed this out, I expect you all to be stretching singles into doubles on Monday, in an effort to serve up a full measure of humble pie to me for the next week. Sorry to miss the games on Monday. Good luck everybody.
Jeff Donald
