Well-deserved Sweep for the Stripes

After what seemed like a 3 month layoff, the Stripes were back to action Monday, in what felt like 650% humidity, against CC Sember. With rusty bats at the ready, the Stripes continued their winning ways, scoring runs seemingly at will.

In the first game, it seemed as though everything was falling in for the Stripes and the defense played admirably. Star of the game had to be Bad Bad Lee Difebaugh who legged out 2 triples. Final score, 17-7.

The second game was much closer as the Sembers' bats heated up. Hi-lites of the game were Boyd and Meehan going deep and Boniface's stellar play in Right Center. Clearly defense was the key to squeezing out a win in this game.

Props to Alan Peterson on a superb night of pitching. Next games Monday Night. Same place. Stats to be posted as soon as I get them. Standings as soon as available.
